Tinnitus is a debilitating condition that has yet to be cured properly. Although there are cures which are effective with some patients there is yet to be a single cure that can work with all types of tinnitus. This discrepancy in the results for each method of treatment can be attributed to the fact that tinnitus has various causes. Some are progressive in nature while others are simply allusive. These help groups not only provide information about various cures but they also accumulate funds for research organizations that are actively pursuing a cure for tinnitus.
